Can we sell other products online?

You're welcome to sell any products or services online using PayMySport. Although we can track the payments and which product has been purchased, it's up to the organisation to then supply the goods or deliver the services to the purchaser.

The purchaser's name and the details of the product will be in an email that's sent to them (as long as you capture their email address), and you will also be able to report on those purchases using the Sportzware online membership database reporting tools.

How do I track who has paid their registration?

The Sportzware online membership database has extensive reporting, including the ability to;

  • customise the data that appears in your reports,

  • choose which columns to be displayed,

  • apply multiple filters to the reports

  • have the reports displayed on screen or emailed to you,

  • group and sort in a number of ways,

  • save reports and run them again at a later time.

I don’t currently use the SportingPulse Online Membership Database.  How do I get access to it?

If you are a club or association within one of these sports - AFL, ARL, Hockey, Touch, Basketball, Lawn Bowls, Tenpin Bowling - then you just need to contact your state or national governing body to request your login code to the database.

If you fall outside of these sports, you can still get your own database to run online registration and payments through.  Click here to fill out the Expression of Interest form and make sure to note that you require a membership database.

How much does it does cost?

Our fee structure is based on:

1. A percentage transaction fee.

This fee incorporates transaction fees charged by third parties, such as PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, and the processing and disbursement of funds to one or more nominated PayPal business accounts (based on the payment split rules you select as part of your product set up).

2. A minimum transaction fee of $1.

This fee only applies to lower value transactions and exists where the percentage transaction fee is too low to cover the fixed costs of processing that transaction.

What's the difference between "user pays" and "inclusive" fee settings?

When you set up SportingPulse Online Payments, you have the choice to either pass on the processing fees to your end users (that is, the players or members that purchase your products), or you can choose to absorb those fees within your pricing structure.

Let's look at a couple of examples. If you are set to a "user pays" structure, then the fees will be passed on in full to the purchaser.

This means, if you had a product that you sold for a $100, at a rate of 3.9% the fee to be paid for the transaction is $3.90.

The purchaser will see two line items when they complete their transaction;

Registration product - $100

Processing fee - $3.90

Total - $103.90

On the other hand, if you use the "fees inclusive" model, the processing fee is effectively hidden within your pricing.

In that case, the purchaser will only see a single line item, without actually seeing the processing fee explicitly stated.

That is to say, all the would see in the above example is;

Registration product - $103.90

Total - $103.90

Of course, this means you need to adjust how you price your items, as they need to include the fee.
